Open House

• Offered in the November for 6th-12 Grades and in January for PreK3-8th Grades. 

Campus Tours

• By appointment most Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. or as arranged through the Admissions Department.

Application

• The first step for admissions consideration is to submit an application and the application fee.
• Pinecrest follows an annual admissions process. Applicants must reapply for admission in subsequent years.
• All applications are considered for the coming school year unless consideration for the current school year is requested.
• It is suggested that parents of future applicants contact the admissions office in the fall of the year prior to the school year that consideration is being requested.

Assessment, Testing, and Interviews
Student testing times and interviews are scheduled once all requested materials are received and fees are paid. Parent interviews follow.

Placement
Applicants are placed in the appropriate grade level based upon age, consistency between earned grades and scores on standardized tests, conduct and effort ratings, and documented teacher evaluations. Placement is determined by the Admissions Review Committee.

Notification
Determination letters and tuition assistance decisions will be mailed according to the schedule found on the Important Dates page or will be mailed when the admissions process is complete and the Admissions Review Team makes a final determination.

Enrollment
If accepted, the non-refundable registration fee and tuition down payment are due along with the signed enrollment agreement.

Wait Pool
Due to limited class size, not all qualified applicants can be admitted. These applicants will be placed in a wait pool and admitted if space becomes available. Applicants must reapply for admission in subsequent years.

The above are general guidelines utilized by the administration in determining acceptance. The Admissions Committee team makes the final decision. Pinecrest Academy employs an open admission policy with regard to sex, race, and national origin.
